Maison Pistache, Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Maison Pistache, a private mansion undergoing renaissance, located in the heart of the town of Dorat, classified as a Small Town of Character®.

Opposite the Collegiate Church of Saint-Pierre, this former noble house from the 19th century combines heritage, comfort and serenity.

Maison Pistache has managed to preserve the soul of the old houses: antique parquet floors, period woodwork, slightly patinated paintings… all traces of time that contribute to its authentic charm.

The guest rooms are located on the first floor of the private mansion, each independent, equipped with its own key, guaranteeing autonomy and privacy.

Free WIFI is available throughout the house.

Children are welcome, and a playroom is open to them: dollhouse, fire trucks, puzzles, building games, cars, books, etc…

Outside, a large family area has been set up to fully enjoy the sunny days:

- a playground with swings, small football pitches, a trampoline and a sandbox

- a chicken coop with chickens of different breeds that lay colored eggs.

Travelers can watch our chickens roam freely and feed them freely, a simple and joyful experience that will delight both adults and children.

In fine weather, the garden becomes a haven of peace: a few chairs, a ray of sunshine, the collegiate church in the background… and time seems to stand still.

Maison Pistache is an inhabited home: we live there in a friendly and respectful atmosphere.

This is not a standardized hotel; it is a living house, full of charm and imperfections, signs of time which make up all its beauty.

We welcome each traveler personally and pay special attention to cleanliness, comfort and well-being.

Late arrivals are possible upon request. Luggage can also be dropped off before arrival time or after departure time.

We speak English and French, and remain available for any local information or recommendations.

The house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

Each morning, a full breakfast is served in the hall adjoining the rooms, so that everyone can enjoy it in their own space, in complete tranquility.
It includes fresh bread, pastries, hot drinks, fruit juice, yogurt, fruit, butter, jam, honey and spread.

Schedules are agreed upon with our guests to accommodate their pace.

The free public parking in the square ensures convenient and secure access.
